Friday morning dawned cold and wet as the season's first winter storm closed in on the Northern Rockies. From Blue Mountain, the Missoula Valley held its early fall colors and sat quietly under a heavy blanket of clouds. With the freezing weather, the colors will likely fade sooner this year, but the skies will always remain vibrant, regardless of the season.
