Color comes slowly when temperatures stand at 10 degrees in the Missoula Valley. Every morning I wake and look out the window, I try to decipher the morning colors. I've settled on cold blues and - if there's going to be any sunshine - some subtle shades of cadmium red, cooled with more blue, of course.
